Team Leader (Residential Services) RUGBY
Full Time (35 hours per week including early, late and alternate weekend shifts)
Salary £26,189.80 rising to £27,445.60 per annum (£14.39 per hour, rising to £15.08 per hour).

We are looking for a positive, proactive and enthusiastic individual with excellent
communication skills, initiative and common sense to lead a team and enable the people we support to realise their potential in our newly built 10 bed residential home Daisy Court.
You may have experience of leading a team of staff to support people who are autistic or have a learning disability and other complex needs. You may have a background in care or have worked in a different environment supporting people who are vulnerable. What is important to us is that you have the right skills and abilities to confidently lead a team on a day-to-day basis with compassion, respect and empathy.
Reporting to and supported by your Deputy Manager, you will have responsibility for the smooth running of the shift whilst ensuring individuals’ needs, choices and dignity are put first. You will ensure that documentation and records are accurate and up to date. You will empower your team to fully contribute and develop and hold regular supervisions with them to support them to develop in their roles. You will ensure that the highest standards of all aspects of support are maintained.
You will ideally have achieved or be working towards Level 3 Apprenticeship/Diploma in Health & Social Care. Support will be given to achieve this qualification. Driver preferable.

THERE IS ALSO THE REQUIREMENT TO REVIEW THE UPDATE SERVICE SUBSCRIPTION ANNUALLY, WHICH IS REFUNDED UPON PROOF OF PAYMENT. IT IS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT TO KEEP THIS SUBSCRIPTION UP
