Warehouse Team Leader

At Coleshill, we currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team. In addition to making sure daily goals are reached, this position will be in charge of leading a team and streamlining procedures while upholding important quality standards. In addition to overseeing the team and making sure that the clients' expectations are exceeded, the Team Leader is in charge of the area in which they are working.

We currently have permanent positions and temporary contract roles that we are recruiting for.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coach all Team Members daily in processes and procedures.
• Maintain and monitor safe working practices and adhere to the safe working methods and countermeasures implemented.
• Maintain standard work and quality processes to ensure a 'right first time' product to the customer.
• Drive a zero-tolerance mind-set for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Operate visual delivery tracking systems in order that commodity status can be seen at a glance.
• Understanding throughput rate to support customer requirements, reporting of all throughputs, improvement and people requirements within given time parameters.
• Support the Health and Safety team in investigations.
• Ensure all MHE Drivers comply with Health and Safety regulations

Experience & Qualifications:

• At least 3 years’ experience with the logistics or automotive industry
• Experience of managing a team of more than 5 people
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications
• Experience within a Tier 1 operation would be beneficial (JIT, Sequencing Packaging & Delivery)
• Experience dealing with customers
