We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Residential Care Leader to join our team, dedicated to providing homes and comprehensive care for children and young people aged 8 – 17. Our service is Ofsted registered and committed to supporting residents with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties. This role is crucial to our mission of empowering young people to achieve their potential by creating opportunities, building resilience, and removing barriers to success.
Day to Day of the Role:- Lead the care team during duty hours, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient care services that meet the needs of residents.
- Champion residents’ safety and dignity while providing leadership and support to care teams.
- Maintain skills and knowledge to ensure care is delivered according to the latest guidelines and best practice evidence.
- Systematically assess, monitor, and review processes to ensure the ongoing safety of residents, colleagues, and visitors.
- Maintain and effectively use clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery.
- Act as a role model for good care governance practice.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a residential care setting.
- Strong understanding of the needs of children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and up-to-date with the latest guidelines and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to act as a role model in care governance and ethical practice.
