We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Team Manager to lead our Learning Disability Team. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide effective leadership to the Learning Disability Team, offering guidance and support to social workers and support staff. Conduct regular supervision and performance appraisals to ensure continuous professional development.
- Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of high-quality social work services to adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence and ensuring person-centred approaches.
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of complex cases, ensuring assessments, support plans, and interventions are carried out in line with statutory requirements and council policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and partners to coordinate seamless and integrated services for individuals with learning disabilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration.
- Proven experience in adult social work, with a focus on learning disabilities.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team, fostering a positive working environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Substantial experience in a leadership or managerial role within a social care setting.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Supportive and expert in adult social work, with a focus on learning disabilities.
