Job Title: Team Manager - Adult Social Worker (Learning Disability Team)

Pay Rate: £40 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision: Provide effective leadership to the Learning Disability Team, offering guidance and support to Social Workers and support staff. Conduct regular supervision and performance appraisals to ensure continuous professional development.
Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of high-quality social work services to adults with Learning Disabilities, promoting independence and ensuring person-centred approaches.
Case Management: Manage a caseload of complex cases, ensuring assessments, support plans, and interventions are carried out in line with statutory requirements and council policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and partners to coordinate seamless and integrated services for individuals with Learning Disabilities.
Resource Management: Effectively manage team resources, budgets, and allocations to optimise service delivery.
Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practice standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration.
- Proven experience in Adult Social work, with a focus on Learning Disabilities.
- DBS on update service
- Substantial experience in a leadership or managerial role within a social care setting.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team, fostering a positive working environment.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
