About The RoleOur Team Managers have the operation nailed. They're responsible for driving results through their teams. In this role you will manage a team of hygiene colleagues and will develop and maintain hygiene systems within the site to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
Reporting into the Hygiene Manager, other takes also include:Managing a team of Hygiene Operatives, as a strong people developer and performance manager through a coaching leadership styleOverseeing the establishment of hygienic working practices across all departments as well as managing pest control and driving improvements in housekeeping across the siteManaging the department paperwork in relations to cleaning schedules and also the labour costs for the department to accurately allocate the teams dutiesEnsuring that food safety and hygiene standards comply with BRC and Morrisons food safety standardsMonitoring and driving KPIs and taking action to ensure they are all met on a daily and weekly basisSetting performance targets and reviewing progress and creating action plans to improve performance (including reducing of costs and the improvement of standards across all areas)Looking for solutions to problems and driving continuous improvement strategiesSpotting and developing talent in your team through coaching and guidanceLooking after colleague welfare and improving attendance standardsAllocating task and holding daily shift briefs
About YouAs well as having a strong work ethic. You will also have:Management/Supervisory experience within a large scale production operation, ideally across Food ManufacturingThe ability to challenge decisions and behaviours to ensure consistency in service to our customers, and will demonstrate your ability to problem solveA proven track record of people management and delivering strong results through a team in a people management roleExcellent communication skillsAssertiveness with the ability to make decisions on the spotA can do attitude and a strong work ethicAn understanding of cost models and experience of budgetary control and understand pest control management.In return for your hard work we will offer you:
