Technical Support Engineer

Technical Support Engineer (test biased), Tamworth required

Hudson Shribman are seeking a Technical Support Engineer (test biased) to join our client based in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

As a Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible and require the following;

Technical Support Engineer Responsibilities

• Support the production line to resolve issues varying from wiring to PLC programming
• Perform quality audits of products prior to despatch as well as end of line Production checks
• Non-standard testing of equipment
• Deal promptly with all post-sales Technical Support queries that arise from internal or external customers
• Check spare parts orders are picked and packed correctly

Technical Support Engineer Requirements

• Understand PLC & HMI control systems
• Able to follow PLC Ladder logic and understand wiring diagrams
• Have a electro-mechanical engineering background
• Ability to communicate with customers effectively and professionally
• Experience with Calibration is preferable

Salary – £45k
