An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer to join a globally recognised organisation involved within the exciting technology sector of rugged communication systems and industrial computers, based at their site in Redditch.
Due to continued growth my client in Redditch is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to oversee and manage teams across three sites and develop a strategic roadmap for the company.
Duties of the Technical Support Engineer job include:
> Project related equipment health checks and configuration management of hardware in line with the requirements of the project.
> Asset management including the base lining of the customers fleet of equipment.
> Work with the Communications Business Development team and Engineering to evaluate new software and hardware products.
> Travel to customers to deliver appropriate support will be a requirement.
Key skills and experience for the Technical Support Engineer job are:
> Masters or bachelor's degree in communications, engineering or equivalent degree
> Understanding / qualifications in networking, IP scheming, and Radio Frequencies
> Experience with Defence, Communications, Intelligence, Special Operations communication systems is desirable.
> Ideally has experience collaborating directly with customers and end users.
