Our Client has a reputation for innovation, producing products that are in demand across the world and their customers expect high levels of after sales service and maintenance.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Logging and administration of electronic/electro-mechanical customer support issues on our management system
- Provision of remote support to customers via telephone, email etc on the full range of equipment
- Deliver a Level 1 support function with the option to escalate to a senior team member in Level 2 support
- Fault finding of issues through information collection from customers and attempts to reproduce the issue
- Occasional requirement to travel to customer site for field support/service/repair activities
This is a Junior position and primarily office based so an opportunity for the successful candidate to further develop their skills and progress within the business.
We are looking for a dynamic self-starter who can act as an ambassador for the company and its products and full training will be provided.
The preferred candidate will have the following attributes and experience;
- Highly Customer focussed.
- Ideally, experience of working in a Customer Support/Service environment
- Formal qualification in electronic/mechanical engineering or relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Willing to travel nationally and internationally if required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full clean driving licence
Desirable
- PC knowledge in terms of Windows operating system and configuration attributes
- Experience of supporting/servicing/maintaining electro-mechanical / optical equipment
