Telemarketer (Part-Time)
£12 per hour (20 hours per week) plus benefits including private healthcare, flexible working, rising holiday, enhanced pension, training and lots more.
Fully Remote (travel 3-4 times per year for company meet-ups)
My client is an award-winning software organisation. They have an unrivalled reputation, offer a fantastic working environment, look after their staff extremely well and are currently growing so it’s a great time to join them!
Due to growth, they are looking for an experienced Telemarketer to join their team on a part-time basis, initially for a year. The Telemarketer will be responsible for researching Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), identifying decision-makers within targeted businesses, and gathering essential information such as business size and best contact details. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate through conversations to extract relevant information.
Telemarketer – More Information and Duties:
- Research Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs): Conduct thorough research to identify and understand the characteristics of the ideal customer for products/services. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to refine and update Ideal Customer Profiles.
- Identify Decision-Makers:Initiate outbound calls to potential customers and engage in conversations to identify key decision-makers within the organization. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential clients.
- Gather Business Information: Extract relevant information about the size and structure of the targeted businesses. Record accurate and detailed data on potential clients, including their needs, preferences, and any specific requirements.
- Build and Maintain a Database: Create and update a comprehensive database of potential clients, ensuring accuracy and relevance of the information. Utilize CRM tools to manage and organize customer data effectively.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the Sales team to share insights and collaborate on strategies to approach potential clients effectively. Provide regular updates on progress and challenges faced during the telemarketing process.
Telemarketer – Over to you!
- Proven experience in telemarketing or a similar outbound calling role.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyse data and identify key trends.
- A- C Grades (or equivalent) in Maths and English GCSE
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate product/service features and benefits.
- Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in recording and maintaining customer information.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the Sales team to achieve common goals
- Resilience: Resilience in handling rejection and overcoming challenges encountered during telemarketing activities.
