Tenancy Support Officer
(Temporary Role)
Salary up to £31,270
37 hours per week

The post will support new tenancy including, mutual exchanges and successions for the first eight weeks of a tenancy. Vulnerable customers will be offered support to maximise income via benefits and grants where applicable, as well as being offered advice and assistance with how to manage a home. With a view to the customer sustaining the tenancy long-term.
Collaborative working within the Neighbourhoods department is essential for this role to be a success.
The aim is to prevent tenancies failing by early involvement from the tenancy sustainment team. A focus of the role will be to work across all teams, sharing information and concerns to support the tenant during the beginning of their tenancy.
The successful candidate should have an awareness of,
- Housing and support
- Safeguarding Adults and Children legislation, policies and best practice.
- Basic knowledge of welfare benefits
- Good IT skills
