Our client is seeking for a Territory Manager to join their team and sell their surgical-focussed portfolio across the UK Midlands.
The company
Our client is a market-leading medical device company who specialises in both infection prevention products as well as surgical and critical care technologies. They are committed to delivering the very best inpatient care. Currently focused on increasing their market share in the UK and Europe, you’ll join them at an exciting time and as a Territory Manager, you’ll be part of growing the product instrument repair business.
The role
As a Territory Manager, you will join a well-established and experienced team and will be responsible for supporting sales across the Midlands territory of a portfolio of surgical instruments, as well as promoting the repair services our client provides. Relationships sit at the heart of this role - you’ll work with both new and existing accounts to grow business in your territory.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing sales activities in new and existing accounts across the SW territory
- Identifying customer needs to provide solutions
- Collecting and delivering surgical instruments and repairs to customers
- Negotiating contracts with prospective customers
- Developing relationships with key decision-makers to enhance account position
- Undertaking territory reviews to steer future activity
- Identifying opportunities to extend existing customer contracts
- Delivering service excellence to ensure a happy customer base
- Attending trade shows and conferences where required
The requirements
You’ll have a strong track record in an aligned sales role, with experience in business development and account management, as well as:
- Background in the medical devices or healthcare industry
- Experience in delivering high customer service levels
- Able to sell to different types of stakeholders confidently
- Able to handle customer objections
- Experience in building and sustaining long-term customer relationships
- Able to work collaboratively with other business units
- Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to negotiate confidently
- Results-focused and driven to succeed
- Values and outcomes orientated
- Able to travel across the territory as required
