Job role: Test Technician
Salary: £25,000-£48,000 DOE
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: 06:00-14:00 or 13:00-21:00 Mon-Fri
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Benefits:
· Salary between £25,000-£48,000 dependent on experience
· Overtime paid at 1.5x

The Role:
· Maintaining the testing equipment in the test laboratory
· Ensuring all test work is performed correctly, to the correct standard and within a timely manner.
· Reporting any inconsistencies or discrepancies in any finding of equipment or procedures.
· Testing electrical components within the Automotive and Motorsport industries.
· Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production.
· Ensuring records of all test results received as required by adhering to ISO 17025 and are recorded correctly.
The Requirements:
· Proven electrical capabilities (essential)
· Proven battery testing knowledge (essential)
· Relevant electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs/17th/18th edition) - essential
· In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on Electrical components
· Working within Electrical test chambers (Advantageous)
· Minimum 2 years worth of experience as an electrical Engineer (Advantageous)
· Qualified Electrician (Advantageous)
