Salary: GBP25,000-GBP48,000 DOE
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: 06:00-14:00 or 13:00-21:00 Mon-Fri
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Benefits:
Salary between GBP25,000-GBP48,000 dependent on experience
Overtime paid at 1.5x

The Role:
Maintaining the testing equipment in the test laboratory
Ensuring all test work is performed correctly, to the correct standard and within a timely manner.
Reporting any inconsistencies or discrepancies in any finding of equipment or procedures.
Testing electrical components within the Automotive and Motorsport industries.
Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production.
Ensuring records of all test results received as required by adhering to ISO 17025 and are recorded correctly.
The Requirements:
Proven electrical capabilities (essential)
Proven battery testing knowledge (essential)
Relevant electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs/17th/18th edition) - essential
In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on Electrical components
Working within Electrical test chambers (Advantageous)
Minimum 2 years worth of experience as an electrical Engineer (Advantageous)
Qualified Electrician (Advantageous)
