Our client, who provides engineering, inspection, operations and maintenance services to the offshore energy and industrial sectors, are looking for a Training Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis.
This role will be full time, office based in Aberdeen.
Main responsibilities
* Develop, prepare, and analyse effective training and expiry reports using training software and
conduct training gap analysis as appropriate.
* Coordinating all training & development bookings, including associated travel and accommodation
and the relevant joining instructions.
* Assist with tasks within the company competence and development area.
* Upload and creation of new start certification records and matrix.
* Update personnel tracking system with training dates.
* Record and where necessary escalate no-shows and cancellations.
* Ensure any project and client specific training requirements and targets are achieved and
maintained.
* Training Matrix compliance management, monitoring and reporting (incl. client specific reports).
* Provide input in the development of mandatory training, development and competence processes.
* Support and attend as necessary internal and external competence assurance activities including
audits.
* Monitor and manage exceptions and deviations to any certification requirements.
* Monitor the renewal of expiring certification and initiate escalation where appropriate.
* Maintenance of training and competence software - training & competence records data entry with a
focus on data accuracy.
* Source external training & educational providers, where necessary to meet legislative and industry
standard.
* General administration support for all areas of C&CD team as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Typically required to HND level (or equivalent) or has achieved a similar level of expertise through
industry experience.
* Demonstrate excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills.
* Experience in using reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
* Able to work collaboratively with minimal supervision.
* Be a self-starting team player.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to manage a high volume of work and prioritise workload.
* Ability to analyse data and provide recommendations on findings.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of applicable regulatory framework and associated legislation ability to gain this.
* Good interpersonal skills; interacts with others in a positive and professional manner at all times.
* Problem solver that is curious in their approach.
