UKAEA’s pay arrangements and grading structure are currently under review as part of a transformation project and proposed multi-year pay deal. UKAEA aims to introduce a new grading structure in 2024. This will enable us to lead the delivery of sustainable fusion energy and maximise the scientific and economic benefit. The Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Join our team and contribute to the future of fusion energy. As Training, Development and Recruitment Manager, you will play a pivotal part in connecting your division to the wider organisation and ensuring the team have the training they require to perform at their best, ensuring talent pipeline working with the in-house Talent Acquisition Team and communicating and implementing development opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Leading the creation and delivery of internally generated training content for both internal and external courses relevant to the technical expertise of the division.
- Deliver value-for-money, ensuring that the training and outreach budget is used to maximise development opportunities, and grow the capability and reputation of the division in line with the divisional strategy.
- Experience managing a budget.
- Creating and implementating skills & competencies maxtrices for the divison.

Essential Requirements:
- Degree level education and interest in Fusion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including speaking in front of an audience
- Ability to constructively interact with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Ability to prioritise workload and resolve conflicting interests
