Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trial Coordinator at Charing Cross Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
The postholder will be based within the Department of Vascular Surgery and will be responsible for assisting the Trial Manager in conducting a large NIHR-HTA funded multicentre, assessor-blind randomised controlled CTIMP clinical trial.
Duties and responsibilities
The post holder will be primarily responsible for: data collection (conducting remote follow-ups [via telephone and online] with study participants); maintaining the Recruitment Tracker and updating it with the latest information to monitor study recruitment; data cleaning; Assisting the Trial Manager and Trial Monitor with setting up new research sites, ensuring all documentation is in place prior to research activity commencing. The post will include monitoring the quality of data collected at research sites and through patient self-reported questionnaires.

This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated candidates wishing to develop their research expertise and to work within a friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate must be educated to degree level and have previous experience of working on clinical trials, excellent interpersonal and team working skills, be able to work autonomously and manage a varied workload. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent communication, administrative and IT skills and be supportive and open to new initiatives.
