We’re looking for a User Researcher to join us on 12-month fixed term basis to play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience by conducting insightful research and providing actionable recommendations. Your work will directly impact our design decisions and product development, ensuring that our platform remains user-centric and continues to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and analyse deep dive user research studies, including desk research, usability testing, interviews, surveys, data analysis and more
- Organise and run moderated focus groups and conduct one to one interviews with customers and store colleagues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, UI designers, product managers and developers, to integrate user insights into the product development process
- Become the UR authority and promote research best practice, set standards, create documentation and upskill wider UX team to drive quality
- Support Senior UX Managers with building research repositories full of valuable documented insights
- Identify user pain points and opportunities for improvement through comprehensive data analysis and user feedback
- Utilise both qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather valuable insights into user behaviour and preferences
- Generate detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices in e-commerce and user experience.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in user research within an e-commerce or digital product environment
- Proficiency in various research methodologies and tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
