West End Garage is an independent and privately owned business working with Škoda since 1987. Today we are one of the UK s leading dealerships for Škoda and SEAT with sites located in Sighthill, Edinburgh, Halbeath, Dunfermline and Stirling.
Due to our continued success and growth, we are currently looking to employ an Administration Assistant at our Stirling Office. You will be working 15-20 hours per week over 4/5 days within our busy Admin Department to ensure the company s core values and standards are always upheld.
You will be expected to hold exceptionally high standards and be able to work closely in a tight-knit team. We are looking for someone with a strong character who can build and maintain an excellent working relationship with the current team.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Knowledge of the motor trade is desirable
- A driving licence is desirable but not essential
- To have a calm and organised approach to tackling problems and workload
- To be committed to gaining knowledge and experience in sales operation within the Motor Trade
- To be computer literate is essential but a working knowledge of Excel is desirable
- It is essential that you have fantastic attention to detail for this role and are 100% thorough with all paperwork procedures
- Be enthusiastic and show a real willingness to learn
What will your role look like?
- Bring new and used vehicles into stock and keep records updated
- Invoicing new, used and trade vehicles
- Support of Sales team and end of month processes
- Daily cash and card banking and reconciliation of transactions
- Processing and electronic filing of invoices
- Investigating Purchase Ledger queries and liaising with suppliers
- Reconciliation of supplier statements to ledger accounts
- Compilation of the monthly payment run
- General administrative duties to support all teams within the branch
