Ward Manager - Picu Unit

We are looking for a Ward manager to join a Psychiatrist intensive care unit (PICU) for adult female patients, who are experiencing an acute phase of mental illness.

What you will do in this role:

• Efficiently manages ward resources and staffing.
• Addresses performance issues and recognises achievements.
• Acts as a visible role model for professionalism and learning.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Manages patient care effectively, considering physical and mental health needs.
• Promotes diversity and equality, applying legislative frameworks appropriately.
• Handles investigations promptly and thoroughly.
• Oversees Medicines Management and incident reporting.
• Deputy to the Director of Clinical Services.
• Conducts clinical audits and provides induction training.
• Provides cover and support to the team as needed.
