We are looking for a Ward manager to join a Psychiatrist intensive care unit (PICU) for adult female patients, who are experiencing an acute phase of mental illness.

What you will do in this role:
- Efficiently manages ward resources and staffing.
- Addresses performance issues and recognises achievements.
- Acts as a visible role model for professionalism and learning.
- Ensures compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Manages patient care effectively, considering physical and mental health needs.
- Promotes diversity and equality, applying legislative frameworks appropriately.
- Handles investigations promptly and thoroughly.
- Oversees Medicines Management and incident reporting.
- Deputy to the Director of Clinical Services.
- Conducts clinical audits and provides induction training.
- Provides cover and support to the team as needed.
