We currently have opportunities for permanent Warehouse Assistant working a continental shift pattern (6am-6pm, 6pm-6am). 36 hours a week.
We also have 1 opening for a Warehouse Assistant on a day shift working pattern (Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm).
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to support the team in the effective operation of the department, working on your own and as part of a team.
Key duties are:
· Load and unload vehicles operating Forklift Trucks
· Receive Goods in and maintain the computer systems within the warehouse to ensure that they are stored in named locations for easy retrieval
· Ensure all goods leave the company in excellent condition and meet all of the customer packing specifications
· Control of board stocks (and if required corrugated outers/finished goods)
· Issue board as requested
· Responsible for the accurate checking, signing and control of all associated documentation
· Ensure our stock rotation systems are accurately updated and maintained
· Be involved in monthly stock checks within the department and be involved in stocktaking of warehouse goods
· Carry out necessary vehicle checks and report/maintain them at all times
· Ensure good working relationships with all departments
· Provide cover for holidays/absence as required
Key Requirements are:
· The ability to work part of a team and on your own.
· Have a conscientious and enthusiastic manner with a strong
work ethic and the desire to succeed.
· A good general standard of education.
· A fork lift Counterbalance licence is essential.
