Rotating 3 shifts: 6am-2pm, 10pm-6am, 2pm-10pm

Main duties and responsibilities:
Full Understanding of the job sheet - extract correct information required in order to provide correct raw material for each job.
Material handling: locate and handle raw materials - ensure envelope machines don't run out of raw materials e.g. paper, boxes, glue, pallets etc.
Picking and scanning - correctly IDC all pallets produced from production area. Any issues to be sorted immediately. To ensure all pallets are scanned to correct location. To understand pick lists and locations. To pick load sheets accurately and produce the correct paperwork.
FLT's - Drive all company fork lift trucks in a safe and competent manner (having achieved all in-house licences).
Waste Disposal - understand the different methods of the disposing of all waste created in the manufacturing of envelopes and bags.
Barcode scanning and computer system - to have a full understanding of the computerised receipt, movement, location and dispatch of all finished goods. To be able to produce correct and accurate delivery notes to accompany the finished goods.
Shunting 7.5 tonne wagon - all pallets produced which need locating to Warehouse 2
(across the road) to be done by a licenced person.
Loading - when loading/unloading fork lift truck, all pallets, reels etc to be stacked in an orderly and safe manner.
Bailer Operation - understand and carry out the bailer operations in a safe and competent manner and have full understanding of replenishing new wire.

There is an £80/week bonus for every night shift worked.
