The Employer is: SAINTS YOUTH CENTRE.Main purpose is to work alongside our team of paid staff and volunteers to assist in the delivery a programme of informal education, information, advice, guidance and activities.Helping to facilitate a welcoming, safe and secure environment at a variety of Centre and street-based locations where young people of all backgrounds are able to build meaningful relationships with our staff team.Typical activities involve:Support and administering youth and community projects and resources.Assessing the needs of young people and planning and delivering programmes related to areas such as health, fitness, smoking, Substance Misuse, relationships and bullying.Running creative arts based activities, community & environmental projects, residential activities outdoor education and sporting activities. Befriending, mentoring and supporting individuals in various settings.Undertaking administrative tasks, verifying information and responding to queries. Working with parents and community groups to support for improved provision and acting as an advocate for young peoples interests. .
