Youth ministry is integral to CFC’s overall vision, connecting the emerging generation to the mission and purpose of our church. We are committed to resourcing this age group with the right personnel, buildings and programmes to see a dynamic, spirit-filled youth culture within our church. Working alongside the Youth Pastor the post holder will help lead and shape CFCs’ youth ministry. Deliver programmes that effectively pastor our young people. Building positive and meaningful relationships with young people, parents, guardians, volunteers and key stakeholders. Flexible, willing to work unsociable hours and perform well under pressure.Have access to a form of transport that will enable them to carry out the duties of the post in full.A minimum of 2 years experience working with 10 to 18 year olds. A knowledge and understanding of Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults (NI) Order 2003 and other current legislation and policies that impact on young people in Northern Ireland and the framework within which youth work is delivered. A working knowledge of the issues that face young people in Northern Ireland and the ability to develop creative and innovative ways to address these issues.
