2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Cambridge - MSP

Due to continued growth, a leading Microsoft Gold Partner based in Cambridge is looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join the team.

Key Skills required:

• Previous experience in either a support desk or field/customer facing role
• Windows Server OS & Desktop OS experience
• O365 & SharePoint Administration
• Active Directory, Azure AD
• Azure configuration and maintenance
• Group Policy (DNS/DHCP)
• Networking - good working knowledge with switches (Ubiquit, Meraki, HP Aruba), subnets and LAN/WAN
• Proven experience troubleshooting and diagnostic experience via logs, tickets and reports

It would be highly advantageous if the ideal candidate has experience with:

• VMware/Hyper-V hypervisor technologies
• Exchange
• Backup Technologies such as Veeam

The roles and responsibilities of the role include administering T1 & T2 support requests, accurate call logging and relevant escalation when necessary. Working closely with the other Service Desk team in a collaborative environment and line management whilst sharing experience and skills where applicable.
