JOB TITLE:2nd Line Engineer

LOCATION: Hertfordshire

WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Permanent

SALARY: £30,000-£35,000

THE 2nd Line Support Engineer OPPORTUNITY:

• Provide onsite IT support to different types of users.
• Respond to 2nd Line Support when raised from 1st line.
• Support Network Infrastructure throughout the site.
• Help suggest new ways to improve IT throughout the site.
• Install, Test & Configure new software.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• At least 2-3 years of practical experience in the field of IT.
• Solid grasp of IT administration and maintenance within a Microsoft environment, inclusing SharePoint, Active Directory, OneDrive and Windows.
• Effective and professional communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly to staff at all levels.
• Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts (LAN/WAN, DNS, TCP/IP)
• Analytical mindset suited for troubleshooting, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ideally a knowledge of ITIL Frameworks.
• Hold a valid driving license and have access to a personal vehicle.
