We are hiring for a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer for a leading telecoms and technology company in Kidderminster.
Job Title:3rd Line IT Support Engineer
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Thursday 08.45-17.30, Friday 08.45-17.00
We are recruiting for a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer for a well-established telecoms and technology company headquartered in Kidderminster. Recognised as a leader in the field, we provide exceptional 24/7 support and are a trusted supplier of voice, data, cloud, security, and mobile solutions to thousands of businesses across the UK. Responsibilities:
- Provide remote support for technical issues as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd Line Engineers.
- Take ownership of complex issues and provide technical support via telephone, email, and remote-control sessions.
- Manage requests via our ticketing system.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Oversee remote monitoring tickets.
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
- Prioritise and manage open tickets, monitoring responses and SLA events.
- Ensure client IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
- Keep customer processes and documentation up to date.
Requirements:
- Hands-on technical experience.
- Proficiency with Windows & MAC Desktop Operating Systems, O365 Administration, O365 Exchange, Microsoft Intune, Server Administrative Tools (Active Directory, Group Policy), Firewalls & Switches, Network Devices, Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN), VPN Systems, Microsoft Azure (AVD, WVD), VMWare, Citrix.
