We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive individual to the post of Access Evaluation and Insight Manager. The post holder will work closely with colleagues from across the Admissions, Recruitment and Widening Participation (WP) teams to deliver Evaluation and analysis of a wide range of internal and external data to enable evidence-based planning and decision making. They will play a significant role in monitoring and evaluating the RVC’s impact and success in achieving commitments and targets as set out in our Access and Participation Plan (APP) and in the development of future targets and plans.
The successful candidate will be experienced in working with and manipulating large and complex databases/datasets and have experience of delivering evaluation, data analysis and Insight to a range of stakeholders. They will have a keen eye for detail with an ability to identify patterns and trends and draw conclusions from these and they will be a highly experienced user of Excel and statistics packages such as SPSS. They will be proactive in their approach to work and will be able to work both independently and as a part of team to meet agreed targets and deadlines. Excellent communication skills are a must, as is the ability to maintain a professional approach to confidential and sensitive information. The successful candidate will also share our desire to make greater use of data to guide decision making and to demonstrate the impact of our work.
