CV Screen is currently recruiting an experienced Accountant to join a reputable and growing firm near Stockport. We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to undertake a key role in our clients firm. The successful candidate will have a strong background in statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax returns. The role involves working in a collaborative environment, liaising with clients and HM Revenue & Customs to ensure the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities for the role

• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Preparation of related corporate tax returns
• In-depth knowledge of self-assessment
• Proactive communication with clients to obtain suitable source records
• Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs to resolve client issues

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment
• Proven experience in statutory accounts preparation
• Comprehensive knowledge of corporate tax and self-assessment
• Part or fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT or QBE
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, Sage, Xero & Freeagent
