Adecco is thrilled to partner with our esteemed client in Workington, who is actively seeking a dedicated Accounts Administrator to cover maternity leave.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am- 16.00pm, Monday- Friday.

Duties
- Data input & ensuring that accurate data is ready for month end deadlines
- Manage obligations to suppliers and third-party vendors
- Input supplier invoices
- Input customer invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts
- Manage obligations to suppliers and third-party vendors
- Prepare, send and store invoices
- Reconcile supplier accounts
- Raising and posting of purchase orders
- Input supplier invoices
- Input customer invoices
- Identify and address discrepancies
- Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
- Assist with management of in-house time keeping system
- Manage petty cash
Experience
- Experience of working in a finance/accounts role
- Knowledge and experience of finance systems
- Knowledge and experience of finance best practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self and Team motivation
- Flexibility and professional approach
- Knowledge and experience of operating finance software
- Good Knowledge of Excel
- Numeracy and accuracy
- IT and Communication
- General knowledge of banking finance workings
Salary £23,000- £26,000 per annum depending on experience.
