Working in the role of Accounts Assistant, you will be joining a well established and respected organisation based in the heart of Elgin. This role is a permanent opportunity, offering an immediate start with a competitive salary.
Your new role
In your role as Accounts Assistant, you will be joining an existing team and report to a team leader. Your role will be varied and include high volume invoice processing. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be focused on purchase ledgers and accounts payable duties, tracking all purchases and expenses. This role is based in Elgin, with a hybrid working pattern on offer. Working from Monday to Friday on a full-time working pattern.
What you'll need to succeed
To be able to succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role dealing with invoices and purchase ledger in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will also have strong IT skills and a good knowledge of using sage and excel, although it is not essential as training will be provided. You must work well as part of a team and, if working at home, be able to work on your own initiative.
