Hunter Mason’s client was founded in 2017, are a privately owned business based in Coventry and are specialists in the full mechanical package. They are now offering a brilliant opportunity to a candidate aspiring to be an account administrator to work specifically within the Purchase Ledger team.

Your key tasks as Accounts Administrator will include:

• Ensuring that Purchase Ledger transactions are processed
• Acting as the main contact point for account queries
• Managing supplier accruals to ensure accuracy
• Processing high volumes of invoices and transactions
• Preparing invoices ready for payment.
• General administration and non-routine payment processing as requested

What you will need:

• Proven previous experience of working in a fast-paced accounts environment.
• A high level of numeracy and data understanding/manipulation.
• Confident and competent user of excel to an intermediate level.
• Excellent and diplomatic telephone manner re: supplier contact point.
• Excellent IT skills, including keyboard skills and Microsoft packages.
• A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic 'can do’ attitude and a down to earth approachable manner.
• It would be great, although not essential, if you have experience of working with foreign currencies.
