Excited to say Alexander Daniels are working on a great opportunity to join a manufacturing business in Aldridge. They are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting into the Finance Director, the main duties are around overseeing the sales ledger, bank reconciliations, bank reconciliations and assisting with month end duties.
Main duties include:
- Taking full ownership of the sales ledger process including processing invoices, statement reconciliations and producing reports such as monthly debtor reports.
- Setting up new accounts and completing credit checks.
- Resolving supplier queries whilst chasing outstanding payments.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Preparing payment runs.
- Assisting with month end duties like preparing VAT returns, managing expenses and completing other duties.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar varied accounts role and in fast-paced environments, and as it is an on-site role, it would suit someone who lives local.
