A specialist biotech company with a very friendly working environment/team based at The Oxford Science Park is recruiting an Accounts Assistant temporarily until June 2024. The role is available full/or part-time, with a minimum expectation of 15 hours per week worked over 5 days in the office. This role could lead to a full-time permanent contract if suitable/interested.
Your new role
- Make sure invoices/data from the auto system have been uploaded accurately
- Upload the invoices/data onto Xero
- Check expenses, project costs, cost centres, etc
- VAT returns
- General accounting responsibilities
What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit someone with accounts payable experience but is open to different types of profiles with a general accounting background. Experience can range from entry-level. You must be available to start on short notice, with the ideal start date of Wednesday, 21st February 2024.
What you'll get in return
You will receive an hourly rate in line with an annual salary of £25-30k paid weekly. You will have flexible working hours to suit personal commitments and the potential of a permanent contract if interested.
