Accounts Assistant

The Job:
·Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients
·Assisting with the preparation of year end financial accounts/statements
·Carrying out bookkeeping assignments for clients, both in-house and at client premises
·Preparing management accounts and VAT returns
·Responding to client queries
·Providing a high standard of customer service and service delivery
 
The Salary:
Dependant on Experience
 
The Hours:
8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (with flexibility for hybrid working alongside working in the office)
 
About You:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, working with a range of clients in an accountancy practice environment. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.  You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel. Previous experience with further accounting software, such as IRIS, Xero, Quickbooks and SAGE, would be highly advantageous. You may hold an AAT/ACCA qualification or have previous experience in a similar role. Owing to travel to client sites, a driving licence is required.
