Your new role
The Accounts Assistant role is critical to the smooth running of the accounts function and therefore the person fulfilling the role should have the following qualities:
- Excellent organisational skills
- IT Skills
- Numeracy skills
- Time management
Duties will include:
- Inputting, matching and coding purchase invoices.
- Setting up new supplier, subcontractor and expenses accounts in Sage 50 and EQUE2.
- Obtaining and reconciling supplier statements and processing payments on a monthly basis.
- CIS calculations on subcontractor payments in line with HMRC Reporting.
- Accounts receivable: Raising sales invoices and issuing customer statements.
- Credit control and cash allocation.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Assisting the Senior Accountant with month-end accounts preparation.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
A proven track record of high volume purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliations is essential to the role.What you'll get in return
