Accounts Payable

Are you experienced in Accounts Payable? Well, a fantastic opportunity has opened.

Our client, well-known professionals within the retail industry, are looking for an Accounts Payable professional to join their team. The role of the Accounts Payable will be to report into the Group Accountant and manage stakeholder and/or supplier queries, be responsible for processing received invoices and to prepare payment files/documents.

What the Accounts Payable will be doing:

• Register and upload invoices onto the finance systems.
• Create and prepare payment documents for management and organise any other payments.
• Manage any queries and keep account records up-to-date.
• Be able to investigate and resolve creditor items.
• Use the financial system to ensure budget holders confirm their invoices in a timely manner.
• Use different methods of communication to liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants and management.

What you can offer to the Accounts Payable role:

• Have clear and strong experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experienced wit computerised accounting systems.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
• Great attention to detail.
• Excellent communicational skills - be able to speak to a wide variety of levels throughout the business and suppliers.
