We're on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Assistant to work in a lovely team within the healthcare industry in London.Duties & Responsibilities:Being the first point of contact for suppliers and colleague payment enquiries, demonstrating a confident and professional approach, able to manage own workload with minimal supervisionProcessing invoices against signed Purchase Orders for APEnsuring invoices received are valid, recorded, approved, and processed for payment within agreed terms of vendor account.Registering non-PO invoices and obtaining approval for APCollect all documents required to construct the weekly payment run proposal for approvalProducing weekly Payment runs for 4 sites and ad hoc single payments for APProcess the authorised supplier payments in SageRegular reconciliation of key supplier statementsEnsuring incoming emails are actioned daily and managing own workloadActively reviewing and investigating any unpaid items and investigate queriesUtilising available reports and data to promptly process pending invoicesDaily use of Sage and AutoEntry accounting system for transactional postings and supplier account managementAd hoc duties including collating audit sample requests, and any other reasonable requestsSkills Required:Excellent communication skills are essentialPrevious experience in Accounts Payable position, ideally within the healthcare industrySage experience preferred but not essentialAccounting qualification (AAT or similar) preferable but not essentialExcellent Excel and Outlook skillsHighly organised, accurate with exceptional attention to detail and prioritising skillsAbility to work in a very fast paced environment and meet deadlinesProblem solving skillsData entry skillsTeam player essentialSalary & Benefits:Pension SchemeLife AssuranceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeMedical Insurance33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) increasing with length of serviceAnnual summer and Christmas partiesCareer developmentRefer a friend schemeHybrid working, one day per week from home following completion of probationary periodLocation: Our London office is located close to Bond Street tube stationHow to Apply: Ready to take on a new challenge in your career?
