We ve got a great opportunity for a part-time role within the Bournemouth Courts, to join a fast-paced office, working as part of the admin team. Our client at the Ministry of Justice is looking for a candidate to be an admin support to the Case Progression Officer.
Overview:
- Full time 26 hrs per week
- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (can be discussed), 08:00-17:00
- Temporary 1 year Contract - with the possibility of extension
- Pay - 10.57 p/h after 12 working weeks 11.88 p/h
- Location - Bournemouth Combined Courts
- Start date: vetting pending
The successful candidate will be working within the family team, processing children act applications and providing administrative support to the case progression officers, dealing with the public by telephone, and supporting the Judges in court. Using their specific database, IT systems alongside office 365 applications.
Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
- Collating and analysing complex information or data, recording data, regular usage of Excel.
- Processing of applications, processing orders, IT data input
- Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
- Liaison between Courtroom, judiciary, public
- Processing correspondence, drafting letters and emails
- Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
- Preparing routine correspondence
Requirements:
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Basic IT
- Previous admin experience is preferable
The offered candidate is subject to a vetting - standard DBS clearance and an activity check for the last 3 years.
