We are currently hiring for a Administration Assistant for our large client in Bath at Locksbrook Road in the Cleansing Department. This role is due to start in April until the end of June. The purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive administrative service to managers, staff, customers and other stakeholders.
Job Description: -
- Provide Microsoft Office and other IT support, including the effective presentation and layout of reports and information, the composition of letters when requested, the maintenance of data bases and presentation of statistical information.
- Develop and maintain IT systems (spreadsheets/databases/charts).Input and retrieve management information. To respond to information and requests by colleagues.
- Attend meetings, take notes/minutes and arrange distribution.
- Arrange meetings as required, including date, venue, refreshments etc.
- Act as the first and central point of contact for the service both by telephone and in person. To determine and/or act independently, the initial response to enquiries which may be of a confidential/volatile nature.
Candidate: -
- Previous office administration experience is essential.
- Educated to GCSE level 5 (Grade C).
- Strong team player with a collaborative work style.
- The ability to be proactive, think creatively and identify development opportunities and continuing ways of improvement.
- The ability to use Microsoft word, process and lay out documents to a high standard is essential.
Shift Time: -
- Monday to Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm.
- 37 hrs a week.
