Job Description Title: Administration Officer / Process Mapping Specialist

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Role Purpose
To contribute to a professional and effective administrative function within the company. A strong focus on attention to detail and following documented controls and processes. To support the management team to effectively document process and workflows in a simple and easy to understand way. To ensure our customers remain financially secure, have a satisfactory credit history and comply with industry guidelines to continue providing Insurance Backed Guarantees to consumers.
Principal Accountabilities
• Collaborate with management to create new processes and document them for future reference.
• Document existing processes and devise visual workflows.
• Develop clear and detailed process maps as required.
• Identify process risks and issues and make suggestions to improve process controls.
• Undertake a variety of administrative tasks to support the business.
• Utilise a variety of information sources to 'sign off' our customers as compliant with insurance and industry standards.
• Professionally and effectively handle telephone calls and enquiries.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers and others.
• Represent the company as an honest, knowledgeable and conscientious ambassador.
• Help maintain a safe environment for staff, visitors and other third parties through due diligence and compliance with health and safety and operational policies.
• Undertake any other duties in order to meet personal, team and organisational objectives following consultation.
Required Skills and Experience
• Competent skills in Process Mapping and creating work instructions.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confident in using multiple data entry systems.
• Confident in using excel and working with spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of working within a regulated FCA environment would be advantageous.
The successful candidate would undertake a dual role undertaking administrative tasks and supporting with Process Mapping & process re-engineering as required by the business.
