Randstad are currently looking for Administrative Assistant to work within Newport council. The job entails being responsible for matters relating to Fleet and Transport operations, including the administration and control of all fleet management database systems, ensuring efficient fleet management services are delivered.
Role: Administrative Assistant
Location: Newport
Pay: 12.59
Hours: Monday-Friday
Responsibilities
- To interrogate and challenge where necessary all invoices for all services provided to the fleet transport unit and
to highlight any issues to the Fleet Manager. - To ensure NCC's fleet of vehicles and plant is routinely serviced according to the Planned Maintenance
Schedule, by liaising with the fleet maintenance contractor to ensure vehicles are presented on time
and in a clean condition. - To respond to complaints, queries and requests in accordance with council policy and direction.
Experience
Experience working in an operational environment
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database packages
