The purpose of the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) is supporting justice. We fulfil that purpose by providing the people, buildings and services needed to support the judiciary, courts, tribunals and the Office of the Public Guardian.
Administrative assistants are based within one of the four offices within the court building (summary crime, solemn crime, civil and admin). They carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court or provide support to other functions. Their main duties include retrieving and filing papers; data entry; assisting with mail; dealing with customer enquiries and copying and distributing papers.
