These are the nine words our children chose to describe our school – an inner city, ethnically and socially diverse and rapidly improving Church of England Primary School, close to the University of Leeds.  Are you up for the challenge of continuing to make them a reality?

We are seeking to recruit a well organised and efficient part-time Administrator to support our friendly team in a busy school office.

Starting as soon as possible following safer recruitment processes and safeguarding induction, the successful candidate should have:

  • a proven ability to process a range of documentation and information using the Microsoft Office package and other information management systems;
  • practical experience of cash handling and accurate recording of transactions within a framework of financial regulation;
  • strong organisational and ICT skills;
  • ability to take on varied roles and multi-task;
  • ability to prioritise your work under the direction of the School Business Manager to meet conflicting deadlines;

The successful candidate will need to:

  • be committed to the safeguarding of children;
  • have a calm, courteous, professional and friendly approach;
  • have a high standard of customer care and take pride in their work;
  • maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people;
  • be a friendly first point of contact for parents and visitors.

This will be a part time role for 15 hours per week, shifts will be agreed with the successful candidate and we can consider two full days or three to five part time days.  This role would be working with the School Business Manager, a full-time admin/attendance team member and the site staff to provide support to children, families, staff and our whole school community.
