Assistant Accountant

Hays are pleased to be working with an esteemed client of ours, who is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team on a 3-month basis.

Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant, your duties will include:

• Reconcile group bank accounts as per company procedure, in a timely manner throughout the month and at month end.
• Assist and support with monthly/yearly audit.
• Assist with the production of monthly management accounts within appropriate deadlines.
• To ensure financial controls and processes are followed together with performance of monthly account reconciliations.
• Calculate and post-month end adjustments relating to bank interest, leases and stock.
• Assisting with other finance roles where necessary

What you\'ll need to succeed
The business are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team and ensure the smooth running of the finance function. You will ideally be part qualified, experienced with SAGE and have good MS Excel skills. You will have good attention to detail, and a can-do attitude.
