Finance Assistant

If you are open minded, inquisitive and have attention to detail then this is the perfect company for you. As the Finance Assistant you’ll be primarily responsible for Accounts Payable activities but also be willing to wear a few hats within the finance department.
Your new role
The key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant are:

• Accounts Payable
• Supporting the credit control team
• Month end processes such as inter-company transactions
• Administration for areas such as fixed assets
• Cash book processing

A working knowledge of excel is mandatory as is confidence with dealing with multiple currencies.

As a Finance Assistant you’ll report directly into the Financial Controller. Being part of this small close knit finance team will mean you’ll get involved in many aspects of the business providing both variety, challenge and change.
You will be actively encouraged and empowered to take on challenges outside of your comfort zone and will receive appropriate on the job training, support and coaching to succeed.

Benefits

• Base salary of ~£26k per annum

Due to the nature of this manufacturing business it will require a working pattern of 8:30am - 5pm.
It does require five days on-site (WR11 area near Evesham) because this business is a very family orientated business meaning that where people will walk and talk to solve problems and work collaboratively together.
The Interview Process
It will be a two stage process with both interviews conducted face to face with key stakeholders and decision makers to this role.
