Are you ready for a new challenge in finance? We're on the lookout for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work in a lovely team within the clothing retail industry in London.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for the month ends close including journals, overseeing accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets depreciation
- Preparing the month ends Purchase Report such as Duty calculation, Commission and Freight charges
- Full responsibility for the balance sheet reconciliation
- Complete quarterly VAT returns, ensuring compliance and keeping up to date with any changes to VAT
- Preparing Weekly Management Report such as Aged TB and Sale report
- Full responsibility for weekly customer payment allocation and supervising sales invoices and debt collection
- Supporting the Management Accountant with ad hoc analysis, reporting and projects
Skills Required:
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- AAT fully qualified or part qualified ACCA
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Sage 50 experience
- NBS software experience preferred but not essential
- Some understanding of double-entry book-keeping
- Highly organised, accurate with exceptional attention to detail and prioritising skills
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and meet deadlines
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £35,000 DOE

Location: The London office is located close to North Acton (central line) and Harlesden (Bakerloo line) tube stations. Fully office based, 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
