SalaryAstute Recruitment are partnering with a highly recognised and well-established company based in Loughborough to help bring in an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis to join their dynamic team.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for someone is eager to learn, develop and grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Support with both month and year end procedures
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements and other financial documents
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable and invoice processing
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the finance function as and when necessary
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work effective both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary, benefits, and hours:
- Salary up to 28,000 depending on experience
