Ashfield is a great place to work. We have a brand new and ambitious Corporate Plan, importantly we are financially secure and are the recipient of substantial amounts of investment monies to improve our area and address climate change.
Located just off the M1 close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield, the services you will be responsible for are waste collection, environmental services and our fleet of vehicles.
The teams which make up our Neighbourhoods Section are dedicated, passionate and proud of what they do, being one of the few to deliver all waste services through out Covid, and the holders of multiple green flag awards.
We deliver value added services to our residents such as our annual Big Spring Clean which introduces new and innovative ways to engage the public in maintaining a clean district and we are also in the process of remodelling our depot to embrace the challenges of an EV fleet and additional waste streams.
Your role will not only be to inspire excellence in our neighbourhood services, but you will also be empowered to develop them for the challenges of the next decade and beyond.
As an Assistant Director at Ashfield, we will develop and support you through your leadership journey and you will also have the opportunity to get involved in initiatives and projects across the authority.
This is an open recruitment, and we would be delighted to hear from anyone who enjoys delivering a quality service, appreciates the future challenges within environmental services and relishes the opportunity to get involved.
