Description
You will provide financial support to the operational and finance teams reporting on performance and you will take ownership of key elements of the financial analysis and will also be responsible to build up the regular forecasts and the annual budget.
The successful candidate will partner with the functional owners to build effective forecasts and ensure that they understand what is driving their costs and what options are available to them to drive efficiencies including:
* Work closely with the functional owners, translate the finances into language and presentations both they and their teams can understand.
* Prepare accurate forecasts with clear assumption; ensure functional owners understand what needs to achieve to deliver the targets; provide guidance on financial implications of various options.
* Work with the functional owners to identify risks and opportunities in meeting cost target; be proactive in supporting the functions to manage the challenges.
This role will support the Head of Finance by assisting with the management of the financial performance and strategic direction.

Experience of stakeholder management / Business Partnerning
Management Accounting / Budgets / Forecasting desirable
Evidence of taking ownership with the ability to prioritise and deal with a wide range of business-as-usual activities and at the same time be able to meet tight deadlines.
Demonstrable interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.
Strong written and oral communication; able to communicate with people at all levels across finance and non-finance departments.
Proven analytical skills with good attention to details.
Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items.
- Committed to studying for a professional accounting qualification - CIMA, ACCA or ACA
